Link-in-bio with a custom domain: what each tool actually charges

Nearly every link-in-bio tool supports a custom domain. The difference is what it costs to get one — and whether it’s included in the plan or billed on top of it.

perma.bio Evergreen — $15/yr, domain included. Lnk.Bio charges $39.99/yr for the domain add-on alone.

Cheapest plan that includes a custom domain

Each price is the cheapest tier at that vendor which gets you a working custom domain, normalised to a yearly cost. Read from each vendor’s own pricing page and last verified 1 August 2026. Prices at several of these vendors vary by region.

Tool Cheapest plan with a custom domain Per year
perma.bio Evergreen — included, nothing to add on $15
Carrd Pro Standard (Pro Lite has no custom domain) $19
Lnk.Bio Any plan + $39.99/yr domain add-on, sold separately $39.99 recurring
Beacons Creator — $8.33/mo billed annually, domain included $100
Linktree Starter, $10/mo billed annually $120

Bio.link and Taplink also offer custom domains on paid tiers. Neither publishes a pricing page we could read directly, so they’re left out rather than listed from memory — we’d rather have five rows we can stand behind than eight we can’t. See also the full five-tool comparison.

The add-on trap

A one-time or very cheap plan is the headline; the domain is where the recurring cost reappears. Lnk.Bio’s plans are genuinely one-time — $9.99 Mini, $24.99 Unique — but a custom domain is a separate $39.99 every year, which is more per year than perma.bio’s entire plan. Worth knowing that their own comparison page still lists that add-on at $29.99; we read $39.99 on their custom-domain page on 1 August 2026. Add-on prices move even at vendors whose plan prices don’t.

What none of these prices include

Buying the domain itself. Every tool here connects a domain you already own; registration is typically $10–$20/yr at a registrar, on top of any figure above. perma.bio doesn’t sell domains — you point DNS at us and we issue and renew the HTTPS certificate.

When another tool is the better pick

Carrd at $19/yr gets you ten sites and total layout freedom — if you want to design the page yourself, or need more than one, that dollar is well spent. Lnk.Bio is the better buy if you don’t want a custom domain: their free tier and $9.99 lifetime plan beat paying us anything. Linktree is the pick if you need their creator suite. We’re the cheapest way to put one link page on a domain you own and keep it there.
